medicaid coordination
The Medicaid application process can be complex and difficult to navigate without guidance. Long term care costs can quickly become overwhelming, with many local skilled nursing facilities costing between $8,000 and $12,000 per month.
Our team helps families understand eligibility, gather required documentation, and prepare and submit Medicaid applications. In many cases, individuals may still be able to retain certain assets while qualifying for Medicaid benefits, and we work closely with Knox Law when legal planning is needed to protect those assets.
We can assist families facing an immediate care placement as well as those planning ahead for potential long term care needs. While Medicaid primarily covers nursing home care, our team can also help families explore state and county programs that support assisted living and other care options.

Guardianship & Power of Attorney Support
Serving as a Guardian, Healthcare Power of Attorney, or Power of Attorney is an important responsibility that often involves overseeing healthcare decisions, financial matters, and daily well-being. These roles can feel overwhelming, especially when navigating court requirements, record keeping, and ongoing care decisions.
Caregiver Support Services provides practical support to individuals and professionals serving in these roles. Our team can help coordinate care, monitor services, assist with financial tracking, and connect families with appropriate resources.
Guardianship occurs when a court appoints someone to make decisions for an individual who can no longer manage their own affairs. Guardians are often responsible for ensuring appropriate care, maintaining records, and submitting reports to the Clerk of Court. Our team helps guardians manage these responsibilities while keeping the individual’s needs and quality of life at the center of every decision.
Whether you have recently been appointed or are supporting someone in this role, we are here to help you navigate the responsibilities with confidence.
Housing & Life Transitions
We assist with downsizing, relocation planning, estate cleanouts, and transitions to supportive housing or assisted living. Our team coordinates resources and logistics so families can focus on well-being during times of change.

professional partnerships
We collaborate with attorneys, fiduciaries, healthcare providers, and financial professionals to deliver coordinated support for shared clients. Services can be provided directly to families or through professional referral relationships. Call us at 828-435-2546 to discuss your needs.
